Devotional Stays

For many years we have welcomed devoted ones to come and immerse with us in the Living Miracles community to deepen in the practical application of forgiveness as taught in A Course in Miracles. Our focus is the experience rather than the conceptual understanding of the Course principles. We are now offering Devotional Stays at Quinta del Sol (QDS), our sister property to La Casa de Milagros, also located in Chapala, Mexico. (NOTE: For Devotional Stays in the U.S. at the Living Miracles Monastery in Utah, please click here.)

A devotional stay is for those who feel a calling to deepen into the mind training and strengthen their commitment to use everything for healing of the mind. It means that you are fully available to devote your time here in service and are open to however that looks in form. It is an opportunity to strengthen in trust and accept what is truly given in each moment for practicing forgiveness.

We come together in collaborations, projects, expression sessions and spontaneously join for meals, movies, music, meditations and more for our one shared purpose of forgiveness!

Communication & Transparency

Our shared purpose in coming together is healing of the mind. There will be many opportunities to practice transparency, full communication and forgiveness by being willing to expose any private thoughts that block the awareness of Love’s presence and question the underlying beliefs.

As we join together and develop trust in the Spirit, we naturally lay down our “masks” and expose hidden beliefs. This allows the Holy Spirit to heal our minds and lead us to the awareness of Truth. Keeping our minds clean through forgiveness allows the Holy Spirit to use us to be in our function, which is true happiness.

Service & Projects

Service is the way chosen by our community to experience the depth and the practical application of A Course in Miracles. We devote our time and focus to a variety of projects as a backdrop for healing our minds together. We use these projects as collaborations for practicing prayer, open communication, forgiveness, and trust with each other, allowing all thoughts and beliefs to rise to the surface so that they can be seen and released.

True service, being truly helpful, is how we undo the small “self” by shifting the focus to align with the Spirit to serve the whole. This connects the mind immediately with a higher purpose. We want to come into a fully giving state of mind, so that we are able to receive the gifts He would have us receive. Through giving, the habit of always trying to “get” is washed away, thus dissolving the ego very gently. Most of your devotional stay at QDS will be in service with projects given you to support the whole.

Quinta del Sol is a Monastery in content. It is an environment of prayerful presence, spontaneity and devotion. We put our full care and attention into everything we do and everything that has been given us by the Spirit to steward, and keep this property, our rooms and shared spaces pristine, just like our mind!

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
